2 Mid-Term Exams:
40% (20% each)
Final Examination (comprehensive): 35%
Homework (WebAssign): 5%
Laboratory: 10%
Recitation: 10% 
Grade scale:    A: 90-100   B: 80-89   C: 70-79   D: 60-69   F: 0-59   

Homework and Test Policy
  

Homework
 We are using WebAssign for electronic homework.  If you purchase a new text, the WebAssign access code is skin wrapped with the text.  If you purchase a used text, borrow, or inherit a text, you may purchase an access code.  The only book store that has access codes for purchase is the Anders Bookstore (they have 175 access codes) and the purchase price is $15.00.    You may also purchase an access code from the WebAssign site (www.webassign.net) -- this method will require a credit card. 
Mid-Term Exam 8-10 multiple choice questions, five choices per question, will be provided.  Please submit the scratch work for possible partial credit after the test is returned.  Please bring only pencil and calculator to tests.  Formulas, constants, etc., will be provided, and you must use scratch paper provided with the test. 
Final Examination  12-15 multiple choice questions, five choices per question, will be provided.  Scratch work policy applies.  Note that the final examination is comprehensive.  Please bring only pencil and calculator to the test.  Formulas, constants, etc., will be provided, and you must use scratch paper provided with the test. 
Make-Up Test Make-up test will be given to only those who can justify their absence for a test.  Those who do not take a test without any justifiable reason will receive 0 score.
