LAB MEETS IN PARKER HALL ROOM 126. IN SPRING HOURS ARE 7:00 PM TO 10:00 PM.

EACH LAB:

1. CHECK MOVIE SCREEN FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS.

2. SIGN ROLL AND PICK UP HANDOUTS ON BACK TABLE.

3. TURN IN REPORT (USUALLY IN BOX ON TABLE NEXT TO DOOR).

LABS ARE OF THREE TYPES: SKY & SCOPE, SOLAR SYSTEM, & STELLAR.

WHICH LABS WE DO WILL DEPEND ON THE WEATHER, WHAT IS IN THE SKY DURING LAB, AND LIGHTING CONDITIONS OUTSIDE.

 

ASTRONOMY LAB SCHEDULE FOR SPRING 2010 (Subject to Change) 

As weather permits the following observing labs may be done in place of the labs listed below: Introductory Observing Lab, Observing Orion Constellation, Combined Planet Lab (Mars & Saturn). 

PQ means practice quiz for Star Quiz. Star Quiz is the lab final.

LAB MOTTO #2: READ, HEED & THEN PROCEED. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. DON'T LOOK AT THE WORKSHEET AND TRY TO GUESS WHAT TO DO.
