1M40.10 Nose Basher

A bowling ball pendulum is held against the nose and allowed to swing out and back. The bowling ball is attached to a fixture attached to the ceiling.

Setup Requirements: Ask ahead of time to avoid wasted class time. A rod in Demo Room is used to lower rope and put back after use. Attach bowling ball to rope. There is a short version and barely clears floor version.

Safety Issues: Don't give ball any initial velocity and don't move your head forward. Hardhat and safety glasses available.
